This is our latest image from our "lightpainting" series. It is a long exposure of Branch Lake in Ellsworth Maine. We used flashlights to illuminate the rocks below the surface of the water. The effect makes the surface of the lake semi-transparent, and allows for a beautiful compliment to the subtle colors of the night sky.
Driftwood Sculpture, Ferry Beach, Maine
A seagull perched atop the roof of a building in front of the Portland Head Light lighthouse in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. This photo would go well with any maritime themed decor, and compliments our Cape Elizabeth series nicely! A bit about the lighthouse: Built in 1791, Portland Head Light is one of the most photographed and visited lighthouses in the world. Located in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, this beautiful lighthouse is a landmark that invokes the true spirit of historic New England.
